Pat Miles Biography:-

Before stepping away from the limelight in 2006, Pat Miles spent more than 25 years as a member of the Twin Cities media environment. The Minnesota Broadcast Hall of Fame member was a former TV news anchor (WCCO-TV, KARE-TV) before eye problems forced her to switch to a microphone (WCCO-AM). Throughout her extensive broadcasting career, she received numerous honors, including the Silver Circle Award from the National Television Academy.

Miles, 71, now divides her time between Arizona and Minnesota. She lost her 14-year marriage to attorney Bucky Zimmerman in 2019 due to pancreatic cancer. Before her career took off, Zimmerman was her first lover in Minnesota; nevertheless, the two didn’t wind up getting back together until much later in life. She was motivated by his passing to write a self-help book in which she interweaves the experiences of widows with guidance from professionals including attorneys, accountants, and financial planners. Before It’s Said and Done is the title.

Miles, who just completed the book and is seeking a publisher, said, “Bucky and I believed we had a really excellent strategy in place. “We were prepared for life, but not for death. There are numerous traps in the world. I never intended to write a book, but after what I went through, I felt driven to assist others.
