Marlena Wesh (born February 16, 1991 in Virginia) – American athlete representing Haiti, sprinter.

Wesh was born and raised in the United States, but since 2011 she represents Haiti, where her parents come from.

In 2011, she competed at the Central America and Caribbean Championships in Mayagüez, where she took 8th place in the final of the 400 meters run. At this distance, she won a silver medal at the NACAC youth championship, played at the beginning of July 2012 in Irapuato. A month later, she represented Haiti at the London Olympics, where she reached the semi-finals of the 400m run. She is a multiple Haiti record holder in flat and hurdle racing.

She was the standard bearer of the Haiti national team during the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in London.

Her brother is Darrell Wesh – the sprinter representing the USA.

Marlena Wesh is a Haitian-American sprinter. Marlena competes in the women’s 200m and 400m sprint at the 2012 Summer Olympics for Haiti. Marlena won the 400 meter sprint for Clemson at the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Outdoor Championships in April 2012 with a time of 51s43, which was a record for encounters, and her 4th consecutive 400 meter ACC championship. Marlena holds the current American university record and is the 17th best in the world. Marlena qualified for the Olympics in Haiti and the United States. In March 2012, Wesh won the all-American title at the First Division Championships at Boise State University in Idaho.

Marlena was born on February 16, 1991 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States. Wesh was born and raised in Virginia. Marlena graduated from Landstown High School in Virginia in 2009. Marlena then moved to Oklahoma. Marlena received a full scholarship there. Marlena studied at Clemson University in South Carolina and graduated in 2013 with a degree in psychology. On August 3, 2012, Marlena achieved her goal of reaching the semifinals of the 400 meters at the London Olympics, finishing in third place.
