Natasha Ramsahai is a Canadian meteorologist who was born in Scarborough, Ontario. She is currently the 6pm News meteorologist at CityNews in Toronto. In 1998, she got a B.Sc. with honors in Environmental Science from the University of Toronto Scarborough. Then, in 2001, she went to York University and got her master’s degree in Earth and Space Science (Meteorology).

Before that, she worked at CBLT’s CBC News at Six from 2005 to 2007 and at CBC News Network until February 2011. She also worked as an operational forecaster for Canada’s The Weather Network from 1999 to 2001, and she gave weather reports on Metro Morning on CBC Radio One in Toronto in 2002 and at Toronto 1 News (2003).

Natasha was not only the first meteorologist ever hired by the CBC, but she was also the first female on-air meteorologist in Toronto starting in 1999.

Natasha has done many different jobs in the Toronto media. She was a Senior Meteorologist at the CBC News Weather Centre before she went to work for Citynews. From 2004 to 2005, she was a big part of making the CBC National Weather Centre and building it.

She reported on national, international, and local news in Toronto for CBC News when it first began. She also gave travelers at some of Canada’s busiest airports weather reports. She was also the only meteorologist on the CBC Radio One show Andy Barrie’s Metro Morning. Natasha moved to Toronto1 to be the Meteorologist for the morning show Toronto Today, which is broadcast on both CBC radio and TV.

Natasha grew up in the area of Ontario called Scarborough. Natasha worked in a number of weather and broadcast-related jobs after she graduated. When she was 15, she job-shadowed a Toronto TV weatherman at CityTV and spent the summer interning at The Weather Network.
