Todd Bridges ( San Francisco , California , May 27, 1965) is an American actor known for playing the role of Willis Jackson, in the famous television series Diff’rent Strokes between 1978 and 1986 and in the program on truTV Presents: World’s Dumbest.

Bridges appeared in The Waltons , Little House on the Prairie , and the historical miniseries Roots . He was a regular on the Barney Miller spinoff of Fish . But it was as Willis Jackson on the sitcom Diff’rent Strokes that he rose to fame, along with fellow youngsters Dana Plato and Gary Coleman .

He was a contestant on a 2006 episode of Fear Factor , but was eliminated after the first stunt. In January 2007 , she appeared as a member of the “mob” in the US version of the game 1 vs 100 . He collaborated on MyNetworkTV ‘s new show , Decision House with his wife, Dori Bridges, in the episode titled, “Burned Bridges” aired on November 14 , 2007 . He also had a recurring role on the series Everybody Hates Chris . In March 2008 , he began making frequent appearances ontruTV Presents: TruTV ‘s World’s Dumbest . That same year, in October , he debuted as one of the contestants on CMT’s Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling show , he was a member of Beefcake’s team (trained by former wrestler Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake ), the judges praised him for his athletic ability and cunning in defeating Harding. After reaching the finals along with Butterbean and Dustin Diamond , Bridges was defeated by Dennis Rodman.

Personal Life:-

Bridges was born on May 27, 1965, in San Francisco, California, the son of Betty Alice Pryor, an actress , director , and manager, and James Bridges, Sr., an agent.  The brothers and nieces are all actors as well. Todd’s son, Spencer Bridges born July 15, 1998 to his divorced wife Dori Bridges née Smith, is also a child actor who appears in the movie Daddy Day Camp and an episode of iCarly . Bridges also has a daughter, Bo, from a previous relationship.

In 1998 , Todd Bridges and his brother James Bridges were credited with saving the life of Stella Kline, a 51-year-old paraplegic . The woman nearly drowned with her wheelchair in a lake while out fishing. Quoting Kline: “I was thanking God that he was there, and you know, everyone has been saying nothing but bad things about Todd Bridges on the news and in the papers… He has a heart of gold.” Todd Bridges commented on the rescue: “We felt that God put us at the right time to save this lady’s life, because there was no one else around.”
