Drew Griffin Biography:-

Drew Griffin was a well-known American journalist who worked for the CNN cable news network.

Griffin spent 10 years as an investigator for CBS 2 News in Los Angeles. In May 2004, he joined CNN.

Griffin wrote about the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in September 2005. Griffin’s stories about some New Orleans police officers stealing things led to an investigation by the police. He also broke news about people dying in nursing homes after Katrina. Griffin and CNN both won a Peabody award for their coverage of Hurricane Katrina.

Griffin won an Emmy Award in 2005 for his business and financial reporting about a problem with Ford Motor Company cars that caused them to catch fire. In 2006, he won his second Emmy for the CNN Presents documentary How to Rob a Bank. In 2007, he won his third Emmy for Anderson Cooper 360°’s Hidden Spending, which was about how Congress spends money. In 2015, he won a Peabody award for his story “Crisis at the VA,” which revealed scandals like deaths and hidden wait times at VA hospitals all over the country. In 2017, he won his fourth Emmy for Trump University Fraud, a show about the scams at Donald Trump’s real estate school.

Griffin and Margot had three kids together. On December 17, 2022, at age 60, he died of cancer.
